1995 Nissan Sentra
The smallest and the least expensive 1995 Nissan Sentra was redesigned in new
4-door notchback style. Aside from the change in style it now comes with dual
airbags and anti-intrusion door beams for added safety. Buyers can still choose
from four trim levels, the base, XE, GXE, and GLE.
All models are equipped with the revised version of the former 16-valve, 1.6-liter
twin-cam 4-cylinder engine that produced 115 horsepower. Standard is the 5-speed
manual transmission with optional 4-speed automatic.
Just like any other cars, the 1995 Nissan Sentra also has trouble spots and flaws
that needs further improvements. For 1995-1996 models, interference of cellular
phones can cause noise from the radio speakers if the phone is plugged near the
radio.
Another trouble is the groaning and squealing of the rear drum brakes due to
over adjustments. Failure of the gauge to fully register is also a trouble spot
caused by the interference of the float arm. Lights are only turned on when needed
but with the problem in the rear heated oxygen sensor, the dashboard light goes
on even in broad daylight.
